About the Journal
Sawa Medical Journal is an international journal dedicated to contemporary research across various medical specialties and related scientific fields. Submitted research papers are first reviewed by the journal’s editorial board to determine whether they should be accepted or rejected; they are subsequently sent to academic reviewers for final assessment, with the outcome communicated to the researcher via an official notification. The journal is published electronically on a quarterly basis—four issues per year—and is accessible to researchers through the journal’s website.
The journal aims to provide an expansive platform for researchers worldwide to share their findings across diverse medical fields, with the goal of disseminating innovative, relevant, and valuable information that contributes to the broader landscape of scientific knowledge. Furthermore, the platform enables specialized researchers to gain deeper insight into disciplines related to their own areas of interest.
The editorial board reviews every article submitted for publication, subjecting each to a rigorous peer-review process. The journal is noted for its prompt communication with researchers regarding the status of their submissions. Research papers may be published in either Arabic or English. The primary criteria for the publication of scientific research in the journal are the quality of the work and its relative significance.
